And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Sporty in summer, too! This is the fire look out on Three Fingers, Cascades, WA. You can see the rickety ladder (white line) along the right edge leading to a scary ramp that has an old gym rope attached! Of interesting note, within the shelter, there is a clothes iron that someone schlepped up! All in all, it is a magnificently airy perch!
Thought so, when I was much younger, I considered the trip but decided to go to Mount Hood for spring skiing instead because I didn't have enough money to buy the necessary climbing gear. Couldn't do either trip now but this view makes me wish I'd given it a go. This photo must have been taken with a drone.
the pizza delivery guy is gonna be pissed.
ReplyDeleteI wonder if it's Jehovah Witness proof.
