And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
I always admired the Esees but just couldn't rationalize the cost. I bought an Ontario Cutlery Ranger. Couldn't be happier with it. The thickness of the blade at the tang is the first thing everybody notices. Made from 2 grades of steel one of which is what leaf springs are made of let's it flex sideways. You can baton with it too.

ReplyDeleteFor a little bit less you can have a REAL knife. I have 2. Put coyote micarta scales on both and got vahalla coyote kydex holsters for both.
