  1. Nom nom nom ... but skip the ketchup and replace with blue cheese salad dressing and those potatoes will be scarfed up likidly split. The meat - a coupla tortillas would make that even better.

    Today's prices in a restaurant, looking at about $12 - $15.

    1. I've a taste for jalapeño flavored ketchup but no question a blue cheese dressing for these fries. Easily the most appetizing mess of 'taters I've seen in picture or plated.

    1. Anon 2:57 AM here - south Texas. Cattle yards here are pretty filled because due to hard drought and high feed prices, ranchers are being forced to cut down herds or lose money feeding and watering them. If you think prices are high now, just wait until Winter 2023.

  4. I go to the grocery store and see $20/lb steak, shake my head and keep walking. After about two steps I think about what a steak would cost me at a restaurant .... I step back and pick up a couple for dinner!

  7. Catsup is OK for the fries, but only a barbarian would put it on steak!
