    1. It's West Virginia. They're all related, and none of them can spell their names anyways.

(Yes, I went for the cheap joke there, but you were asking for it.) ;)

  3. I haven't been able to find out WHY?

    >>Avery was the 19th most popular girls name and 211th most popular boys name. In 2020 there were 6,698 baby girls and 1,773 baby boys named Avery. 1 out of every 261 baby girls and 1 out of every 1,033 baby boys born in 2020 are named Avery.<<

    1. Judging by the way people drive these days, we have far too many Dicks as it is.

    1. Now that you mention it, neither do I. Maybe all these purported "Avery" folks are in very different social circles that you or I do. But no, don't know a single one, nor have I ever.

  8. "What's up with Avery?"

Some people don't like to be labelled.

Tip your waitresses. Try the veal.

  9. But seriously, if you're looking for a list of great alias cover names that can go in either order, for either sex, you can't beat Avery Carter, Logan Sawyer, Angel Rowan, Leslie Oakley, Kim Cameron, or Kelly Taylor can you? The alias databases would melt down.

  10. A physician colleague from Inhia noted that a plethora of Muslims' male babies born in India at the time of Bushdaddy's war were named "Saddam Hussein" such that it was the name of all the Muslim male pupils of that age cohort in many Indian schools.

  12. We named our new pup "Angel". Never herd of a dog named "Avery".
Pretty sure we won't see the name "Brandon" for a few decades anyway.

  13. I really hate non-gendered names. It's like the parents are *trying* to confuse the child and everyone else. And most of those names look like boys' names to me. Carter and Logan especially.
