And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
I do recall that law in Cascade county schools in 1967. also target shooting in the football field stadium, longbow archery practice on the soccer field-only proper thing to do on a soccer field. harvest time was considered 'field experience education' and points for graduation. hitting the state fair was a mandatory class for juniors in high school as it was in great falls which is in the county. many things have changed from then.
Must be Texas A&M prep school. The Aggies have a Cavalry and a live artillery piece. My son also has a real nice '03 that matches the one depicted on his ring.
I'd like to know what the principal did to deserve this beatdown
ReplyDeleteI can think of any number of things....being a dik for one.
DeleteThe law is the law deserving or not.
DeleteEven if he didn't deserve it, hooray for those who are exercising their actual education. There is hope!
DeleteWell, Dang! A school administrator finally earning a little of the outrageous pay they earn!
