  1. Riiiiiight.

And in related news, the Air Force is now recruiting kids from the desert regions of BFE who used to bullseye womp rats with their T-16s.

  2. Key word is "Artist's", with no aeronautical design experience whatsoever. Just take the SR 51 and make it organic based on Lt. Whorf's head structure. Oh, and don't forget the reactionless drive that produces 200,000 lbs thrust per engine.

  3. That wouldn't make it past Mach 2 with that wing design. It has to be a delta wing to get past Mach 3.

  4. What everyone said above. Plus satellites replaced the SR-71. Fast high flyers aren't coming back.

    1. Guys, not a serious title. In fact, so unserious that it wasn't expected that anyone would take it seriously.

    3. If you think satellites replaced the SR-71, I've got a bridge to sell you, cheap, Slick.

      Guess again.

The internet moves pretty fast, but you've had literally 30 years to get up to speed (so to speak) on what replaced the SR-71. It ain't satellites. And it's moving at greater than Mach 6, regularly.

Now see if you can guess why the Russians and Chinese have spent all that time and treasure trying to develop hypersonic missile tech for 30 years.

  5. Is there a funny SR 81 speed check story by a former pilot available?

  7. It looks like a model Revell or Aurora put out back in the 80s before the F-117 was officially displayed.
