  1. Looks more like an album cover for the soundtrack.

  2. That's the first movie girlfriend/fiance/wife saw when we first met. We enjoyed a fun movie and a terrific life together. Miss you, Sweety.

  4. Howard Hughes' favorite film.

  5. The movie where we we were to overlook that F-4 Phantoms were used as MiGs. That made several scenes quite confusing.

  6. That soundtrack should be in everyone's collection!

  7. Hughes had great cinematic taste.

Great John Sturges (The Magnificent Seven, The Great Escape, The Eagle Has Landed) flick from Alistair MacLean's best-selling novel, love the soundtrack, and worth watching again and again.

But Mr. Jones should have given Borisovich a dummy film reel, and been seen handing the real film reel to Cmdr. Farraday as they dove and departed.
