  1. The gear shift is on the right hand side, . . . so I am guessing it is (1960's) British, . . . ?

  3. France's Terrot built the engine (1946 500cc RGAS) but the rest of the bike is a one-off creation by Rémy Vivien in the Alsace.

You can read about it at: https://pipeburn.com/trials-tribulations-remy-viviens-1946-terrot-rgas/

A sales brochure where you can see a bit more about the engine is at: http://terrot.club.pyreneen.free.fr/basse_resol/catalogues/c87/htm-0001.htm

Some fantastically fun Terrot pictures at: http://terrot.club.pyreneen.free.fr/sf1/galerie/galerie.htm
