  2. Aside from the cosmetics, do they differ at all? I can see the justification for multiple guns (aside from "I want") because they can serve different functions. For the guitars above though, I don't see any *practical* point in having more than one (and maybe one backup/spare).

    1. Different guns for different functions, yes, but don't neglect backups. Maybe I'm preaching to the choir.

    2. If *practical* was an ultimate concern, sure....but is the pleasure of having choices of good instruments practical? Yep. Each one of those will sound a bit different, and there are probably 2 or 3 that would blow your socks off; the differences are practical enough to make a difference in one's creativity.
      I'll take 'em all, if someone were to give them away. I've got a '59 Gold Top Les Paul taste but a Gecko guitar budget....
