And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Needed one of these to haul out some of the NVA caches that we found along a river out of our base at Phu Bai. Some of it is at the 101st museum at Fort Campbell. Listed as captured by B and C company of 1/327.
The thing to marvel at here is not so much that the Helo can lift it but that the cable will carry that load.
