  3. If you have the scratch, hit up Automation Direct. They have (or had, haven't been to that part of site recently) inexpensive variable frequency drives, suitable for 120 VAC use. Low speed the drill, then slow down the motor more. Works like a charm on conveyors where I work.

    You might have to scrounge a 220 V 3ph motor.

  5. A drill press is one of those tools you might not use every day , but, when you get one you use it more often than you would think . They are just so handy
