And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

This might have been useful back in my rock climbing days
My one time 'serious' rock climbing was at the beach in Calif somewhere, I just started up the side from the beach, just goofing off. Before too long I remember thinking, "ok, that's enough", and then I looked down... Oh wow.... Too high to jump and climbing down backwards was not going to happen. I did finally get to the top (it was not that high as these things go) and learned a lesson. I really admire the people in your rock climbing pictures!

It's also good for your hands when shooting handguns in hot weather. Really helps keep your grip on the gun stable without slipping.
