And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
'67 it is....My friend had one in gun metal gray with a 454.....kind of killed the patina but he gave it to his nephew back in the early 80's and he turned into a show machine that sold for almost 100 K, even with the wrong engine....
Nice! I have not seen one in green that I like until this one. I like the serpentine belt system and the smaller AC compressor. I wonder if they hurt or helped the value with the customizations.
Everything is great except the wheels. Sorry, but I hate the modern style of 20 inch plus size wheels, with thin rubber band style tires. On modern vehicles it just looks dumb, even with the vehicles designed for large wheels. With classics, it just doesn't work for me. Sorry, that should have 14 inch (15 at the most) with period correct skinny tires with that red line on them.
Very nice. 1967, I believe.
ReplyDeleteIt was not originally fuel injected. I think they had a 6 pack.
DeleteYes, three two's was the 435 HP version IIRC. Also, the small AC compressor and alternator, plus the serpentine belt.

DeleteMine was a midnight blue fastback.
It was a cop magnet.
