This picture taken by Astrophysicist Gianluca Masi shows the ISS passing directly over Rome's Colosseum - Too Cool!

  1. Could be a long exposure with a fisheye lens, or some type of composite using Photoshop. Either way, nicely done. I expect that the ISS transit time over the Colosseum is only a few seconds, not enough time to get trails on the stars.

  2. Go out to see the ISS often, pick date with high trajectory and clear pre-dawn or just after sunset
