The Vultee XP-54 Swoose Goose was a prototype fighter built by the Vultee Aircraft Company for the United States Army Air Forces. Flight tests began in January 1943, but the program was eventually abandoned.

  1. My father worked at vultee as a materials specialist during WW2. Vultee was later swallowed up by Consolidated Aircraft.

  2. CV also made an amazing liason aircraft. The L-5 (OY-2, USMC designation) is impossible to load outside of CG at or less than max. weight.
