And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
I'd just settle down like the guy in the photo and enjoy the view. As Steven Wright said "There's a fine line between fishing, and standing on the shoreline looking stupid." I'm the latter.
It's funny how sitting beside a body of water doing damn all, doesn't feel quite right after a while, but put a fishing pole in one hand, and maybe a beer in the other, and the universe rights itself. No actual fish required.
