  1. You would think that poor little guy was dead on impact. At least I hope so. Isn't a eagle 3ft tall when he lands?

  2. Had ta been a harpy eagle.

Biggest eagle on the planet, and certainly able to grap this critter.

  3. I could be wrong, but that sure looked like a Bald Eagle to me. Much to brown to be a Harpy.

  4. There is an eagle nest site at the end of the cove where I live in EastTN. I have only seen them at the house a couple times, but occasionally when out on the lake. Recently one flew across my pasture pretty low while I was out with the dogs.... It could snatch a baby goat if it wanted. Frankly I'm surprised we haven't lost any of our chickens???

  5. Are those Tahr (not sure how that is pronounced) goats ? Maybe this is somewhere way out there.

Circle of Life, it can be harsh.

  7. Saw a hawk take a squirrel in my driveway a while back. The squirrel's friend chased until the hawk gained too much altitude. Even at this level, nothing like an eagle, it was pretty impressive. And sad.

  8. Bald. White tail, could not see the head to confirm for sure. Wife watched out the kitchen window years ago Baldy with my chicken under foot in the yard. She did not know they were so tall. If redtail hawk would a _ _ _ _ the bastard.
