And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
The horses have started coming around. They are much more intelligent than LBJ gave them credit for being. They are learning new tricks. Hope that didn't sound racist it in no way is meant to be. Love all my brothers.
The way I heard the Atlantic city diving horse was it was animal activism that stopped it, supposedly alway heard the horse liked it and obviously did it many times daily.
You start with jumping them a small distance and gradually increase the distance involved. Horses are smart. Once they understand it won't hurt them they generally don't mind doing something. Also being a social/herd animal if you train them to view YOU as being higher on the 'pecking order' they are more inclined to follow your lead.
We'll have them horses voting democrat for the next 200 years.

I heard there was a slide installed, and once the horse got to the edge of the slide the rest was all downhill from there....
