And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
On Netflix check out "Midnight Diner" and "Midnight Diner: Tokyo Stories." It is a Japanese TV show that is very popular according to a Japanese friend. It concerns a diner, about this size, open only from midnight to 7 a.m. The stories and characters are quite amusing and some of them are rather poignant. And, there is a theme dish for each show. At the end, the characters explain some tips about making the dish. Highly recommended.
Also there is a Chinese film call "Midnight Diner" only this one is set in Shanghai. Same theme of a medley of characters. Not so much emphasis on an episode theme of a particular food.
