  1. Will Pinocchio Joe be equipped with this?

  2. They started this in the crowded and congested factory I work in not just with forklifts but with all the vehicles moving around inside the building. It actually works real well.

  4. That's a very clever system. The point is, the projected square is highly useful to alert other operators. It's easy to look down to see where you're backing up, harder to move your head up to see what is approaching. Especially if you have some years, or some old injuries. Projecting the square onto the ground is putting it where others will see it.

  5. Seems fine to me, just so long as people don't get used to all the safety features and forget situational awareness.

  6. Seen lots of damage done by forklifts, don't know about injury.
    Skeptical about less damage.

  7. I wish we had had that around our maintenance department manager. He always caused more work when he got close.

  8. In a customer's facility, I saw a forklift yesterday with a similar light, but this one projected an arc. It's the same principle; first time I've seen one.

  9. Those purdy lights dont mean much if the driver does not look behind him before backing up. Just like all safety equipment , useless if not used or used incorrectly. Ron white is still right, you cant fix stupid.
