  1. That's our neighborhood. I have literally seen something similar on our property.

  3. Who the f*** would leave a dead deer in their frond yard long enough to get picked clean by vultures?

  4. The Circle of Life. I used to watch coyotes and buzzards clean up dead cows through a spotting scope at the ranch. It's pretty fascinating to witness. The dogs worked the night shift, the buzzards took the day shift. Between the two crews it wouldn't take long.

  5. Here in Sauk County, WI, we have lots of buzzards. I love watching them fly.

  6. As an old biology prof once put it to me: "Death is nature's dinner gong." And those moans and groans we old folks make as we get up and around are simply feeding calls for predators.

  7. No 4-legged varmints got to this one, with all those bones still in place. Critter will rip a limb off and take it somewhere quiet to gnaw. Looks like the buzzards are picking it clean.

Homeowner is probably a redneck who thought 'what the heck, it's Halloween'

  8. Can't be Baltimore - no bullet holes visible and there isn't a fence in such good repair.
