  1. That thing is really man-flight rated? Any one of those motors hiccups and someone dies.

  2. The four motors may all be joined together by driveshafts so that if one fails the other three motors power it. The USMC's Bell Osprey's have a shaft joining the transmissions so that it can fly with one engine shut down.

  3. There's even a small personal electric copter with 8 motors. Does not require a pilot's license.
