And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
It may be a cabin of dreams in the summer, but it doesn't look much like a winter shelter. And winter is coming, CW. We had snow for the first time this year (it rained all summer) and there is talk of a heavy snow pack this winter.
Let's hope there's a huge snowpack this year. Should start raining here early next week, and Shasta already has some light snow. I would totally use that cabin if it were mine. Perfect "hole-up" spot.

ReplyDeleteFLW inspired, simple lines but draws the outside in. Less is more and looks cozy enough.
