And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Bet you a dollar it's bagged. To each their own, I reckon. I'd rather not have the speedbumps in my hometown dictate my universe when I take the T bucket out, though. Freedoms a motherfucker when you don't approve of what others do with it...
I drove a COE 45 years ago. The owner had transplanted a Pontiac motor of undetermined cubic inches into it and it ran like a dream not to mention handled real well. Up and down hills without a pause.
I cannot believe how many Fat-Fendered 49-54 Chevy/GMC trucks there are in existence today, AND are still on the road as well. It seems odd that they far outnumber the later pickups up through and including the 1966 models. When traveling you see several EVERY day. This does not include the ultra-cool COE variety, but still.......

ReplyDelete-Snakepit
No paint, shoot flat clear on it and drive the wheels off it.
Deletewhoever ruined that COE needs to be beaten
ReplyDeleteAgree wholeheartedly. no fan of ground dragging, waste.
DeleteTotally agree. Why take a handsome, classic truck, and ruin it, by making it into a lowrider?

ReplyDeleteLooks like an elephant with it's snout cut off....but I like it....

ReplyDeleteYou see these kind of trucks all the time in Fallout 3 and 4.
ReplyDeletePresumably there are hydraulics to raise it when driving like all the other low riders in Lacalifusa.
