And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
I did that in the rain in my ‘’73 Jensen-Healy at the end of the ramp from inner loop of the DC Beltway to interstate 95 North - and ended up ‘merging’ into the existing northbound traffic, almost like I meant to do it that way. I remember thinking that if I didn’t pull it off, I was going to be broadsided by a semi. 😱
I think I aged a few years in those split seconds...
I wonder how many times it took to get one right? There is a lot of rubber on that piece of track.
