And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
these voltage detectors only detect a voltage above 90 volts AC and do not detect DC voltages. any AC above fifty volts will cross you skin barrier and kill you. any DC above sixty volts will cross the skin barrier and kill you. so. if your only going to find any AC voltage above ninety volts AC before you grab onto a hot circuit, and any AC voltage above fifty volts can kill you, what else would you call one of these nifty little sensors??? Oh, they're convenient as hell, but make sure your life insurance premium is already in the mail.
Yes these are very handy little gizmos for quick checks. I always follow up with a voltmeter though.
