And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Totally agree. Those three are for battle or self-defense, but the Woodsman was for pure fun. Mine aims itself & seldom misses, makes me look like a real marksman!
Oh, for the days when they were carried along to every picnic, where the whole family got to enjoy them! Many a tin can was made holey....
That's a 1911 on the left, what are the others?
ReplyDeleteApparently they are a 1903 Model 1 in .32 ACP, and a 1908 in .25 ACP.
ReplyDeleteColt is reissuing the .32, and others.
I used to have the 1903 'hammerless' auto in .380... nice slim piece that hid well on the body. If Colt did reissue that in .380, I'd buy one.
ReplyDeleteI have two of those... Desire the other... I'll leave you all to guess which one I'm missing. :-D
ReplyDeleteShould be a Colt Woodsman in there. Just sayin'
