And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Either that or the ferry passing, too fast. It looks stout, but I can't image that dock holding together for long if that was a swell going on for hours.
When commercial fishing which involved long weeks at sea, I discovered why sailors walk bow legged when onshore. Due to the constant motion of the vessel the Vastus Medalis muscle in the leg becomes greatly enlarged. It actually hurt to walk on shore.
Been on a US Navy ship rocking and rolling like that...except she was also pitching up and down in the bow! Walking down the passageway from bulkhead to bulkhead
It usually is bad for your boat when those docks give way. Ask me how I know.
