And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

The Art of Speed - Maserati Sport GT - Pininfarina
Fffffffffffffuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu..... Damn. Just, damn. What's it like tooling around town in one of those? Seriously... when I was 15, my Dad had his midlife crisis, bought a used 1977 MGB, candy red, was a piece of shit, barely ran, but man, I turned 16 and he couldn't stand to fold himself into the seat anymore.. so who do you think got to drive it? Mom couldn't handle a manual transmission. Shucks. What a blast. Honest, it was like $4k at the time (maybe 6-8k today?), nothing to sneeze at, but, some people can come up with a little extra cake. Only drove it 6 mos. out of the year (snowed the other 5 where we lived...) But it was worth every penny.
