And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

Not the reaction that I would expect from a dog either; which adds to this theory. Dogs too tend to tolerate from puppies shit they would never take from adult dogs.
My theory is that young Grizz was raised from a cub around the dog, who is the alpha animal. Young Grizz doesn't realize that he's grown big enough to kick dog's ass if he wanted to. But I don't think he wants to. This looks like play behavior..
