  4. Draconian gun laws, millions of illegal Beaners, uber-high property taxes jammed highways and either mega forest fires, Santa Anna winds and outrageous fuel costs to drive because the we-care-about-the-planet morons. Why would anyone in their right mind want to live there?

    1. B-b-but we can snow ski and surf in the same day.

You took the words right out of my mouth. And...CA recently passed a law that any project by CalTrans must include a study to ensure that the project will not increase traffic. So, adding a lane to a freeway to decrease congestion...doubtful. Building a bike path...maybe...approved only if users will not drive to departure point. So now CalTrans is tied up in feasibility studies while motorists fume.

  12. On Thursday, $145 at BJ's in Summerville, SC; $165 at the other stations around there. But in St George, SC near where I live, $2.79, a bit of "market adjustment" for the travelers on I-95? Or is that "price gouging"??

  13. It's market adjustment for travelers. It's always higher just off the expressway. BTW, $1.23 at Sam's just outside Columbia SC but I laughed when I saw it was even cheaper at the IGA when they're usually 20 cents higher...
