And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

That last little floor rub before sweet unconsciousness....
That looks to my inexperienced eye like a case of "fencing response" from a TBI. That's not only going to hurt, but he's going to have troubles when he comes round.
He's going to wake up wondering who kicked his butt.

Mondays are like that under quarantine when you don't have to go to work. That knock on the noggin won't be anything compared to the hangover.
