Laying down a smoke smoke screen with a B-24, Pacific Theater, WWII

  2. I was unaware that they used aircraft for smokescreens, looks to work.
    I had a car that did the smoke screen thing, it was a '76 Honda CVCC and the head gasket leaked, huge cloud of white smoke.

    1. I had a '63 Plymouth with the same malady, Rob. When I left my workplace a 5 PM I'd pull out of the lot and floor it I put 2 blocks in every direction out of business. The guys at work nicknamed it the "Crop Duster". Greta Thunberg would have been so impressed!

  4. There was even a smoke kit for ol' Huey. At the speeds and altitudes we flew we could lay down a lot of smoke. regards, Alemaster
