    1. Easy Skip: He clicked his heels twice while singing: "Io, Io it's off to Io Io go".

  2. March, 1997, I was driving home from Prineville, OR, eastbound on Highway 14 in the Columbia River Gorge.

There was an almost-total lunar eclipse that night, and I pulled over at the Cape Horn lookout and enjoyed it. The Moon was low on the horizon, and nicely framed by the Gorge.

Right above my head was Comet Hale-Bopp, in a cloudless night sky.

It was the most glorious view I've ever witnessed -- and I was the only one there.
