And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
A couple of years ago, Ol' Remus over at the Woodpile Report turned me on to cold brewed coffee, I tried it and haven't gone back to hot brew. 70% less acid, brings out the natural sweetness of the coffee, and it's just a better way of making it. I use a very fine grind in the infuser, leave it in the fridge overnight, 12-18 hours, and it makes a very STRONG concentrate. In the morning I pour the concentrate into my cup, about one-quarter of the cup, and top it off with filtered water. Into the microwave about 2 minutes, and sit in silence greeted the day and God with the best coffee in the world. Sumatra is good but almost any coffee will taste better cold brewed. I like my coffee strong, so your mileage may vary. Amazon has cold brewers for as little as $20.
