And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

The Snowshoe is clearly not afraid of a sudden attack from the local bald eagles. Or it could be that she's clueless (she's clueless).
The eagle hits it with those talons, it's over. Here's a nest cam video of an eagle bringing a cat back for the fledgling. https://youtu.be/PWc6aF6aMQ8
The opposite. She hates being picked up, and yowls comically when it happens. Now, Mrs. CW's other cat is a rag doll, and will happily be picked up, turned on her back, and allow her underside to be rubbed while purring happily.
CW, are bald eagles strong enough to carry off a full grown cat? If attacked once, I bet she gets a clue!
