  1. Whoa Cee Dub, I sat in the bombardier seat in the nose there as we flew right over your place. I threw my pocket change at ya in case you ever find it out in the yard.

  2. Lets see, Chin turret, top turret, I'm thinking a B-17, 'don't think it's a "25" because the nose is too bulbous, but hey, does it matter?? Pilot, co-pilot and some dude hangin' out between the seats!! Wonder who's pickin' up the nickle to fill the tanks?? Back in the day ol "Mac" had a Beech 18 N2AP that we usedta' do "10-MAN" outa at Otay. I usedta' fly #5 out the door so I got the slot at the front between the pilot, co-pilot seat sitin' on the main spar. Usedta' turn around and watch out the windshield on takeoff!! 18's are notorious for being "Lead Sleds" especially all dirty and low airspeed right after take off so charlie, our pilot, would hold it on the ground and get as much speed up as he could before he would jump it off as we passed the student target out by the end of the runway!! That sound!...that magic sound!!... you would hear as Charlie sucked up the gear, the props unload as they drop in the groove and he gets them in sync.....We're Flying!
