And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
It no doubt is a blunt. When I got my kids into archery, years ago, I told them to treat it just like a gun. Safety first. That kid has a cheap bow, but with a quality one, it's amazing how powerful they are, and I can only imagine what a yew bow with a 120 pound pull would do. The French knights at Agincourt didn't stand a chance.
With a razor hunting head, they'll take a tube of flesh (wound channel) about 1" across and blow it out your back like a giant brat...serious artillery.
The bow doesn't have much punch. The arrow should have gone through and through. Chastise the boy for being a light-weight.
