And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

Motorbike awesomeness
The Confederate X132 Hellcat Combat Motorcycle set the record of 172.2 mph on the Bonneville Salts, which translates to 200 mph on asphalt. Nice machine, but there's no way I would ever go that fast on a bike - my end would be quick and spectacular.
I gotta ask ya Cee Dub, what does"172.2 mph........which translates to 200 mph on asphalt." even mean?? The phrase is all over Google but I find no explanation for the difference.
Yeah, I'd run out of balls well before I ran out of throttle.

ReplyDeleteI believe it may be the difference between the top speed on the salt, which produces more friction, than asphalt, which would allow higher speed.
