The degree to which Barack Obama is now phoning it in – sleepwalking perfunctorily through his second term, amid golf rounds and dinner parties – is astonishing

The British notice Obama's lack of interest in his job.

They perhaps forgot Obama's interview with Barbara Wahwah, back in December of 2011 , where he said this:

President Obama says that "nothing frustrates me more than when people aren't doing their jobs."

Read the transcript below of President Obama talking about laziness.

Barbara Walters, ABC News: "What's the trait you most deplore in yourself, and the trait you most deplore in others?"

President Obama: "Laziness."

Walters: "You're lazy?"

Obama: "You know, it's interesting. There is a deep down, underneath all the work that I do, I think there's a laziness in me.

Or, it could be the effects of all that choom he inhaled, and may still inhale, back in his Hawaii days.

No matter what, we have over two years of this guy left, and it looks more and more like the world is catching fire without the superpower enforcing the Pax Americana.  Wonder what we will do when real trouble breaks out?  Can't phone it in then, and I doubt Valerie Jarrett will know what to do anymore than Obama.

Impeachment can't come soon enough.

  1. I certainly don't disagree with your point of view, but....

So he's impeached. So what? Clinton was impeached, and ignored it; what makes anybody think it would have any effect on The Won? Impeachment merely says to the world that the legislative branch disapproves of the actions of the President.

Nixon, never forget, was not in fact impeached, but knew the meaning of the word "disgrace" - and resigned in the face of the THREAT of impeachment. Threats of censure to the likes of Clinton(s), Obama and the Chicago gang are empty and laughable. They have about the moral weight of threatening to tell Mommy.

    1. You've defined the problem, but I have to think that as things deteriorate further and further, both here and abroad, that at a certain point even some still patriotic Democrats will see that he must go. In my opinion, that will be more likely if the Dems suffer a huge defeat this fall, and lose the Senate, or nearly lose it. Impeachment must be followed by removal, and that requires the Senate.

Biden is a fool, but he doesn't hate his country, he would kick Jarrett out of the White House, and would likely do much less damage than Obama.
