I'm almost up for Jihad myself if this is their goal, and I'm not Muslim. I hear tell that inside the Kaaba are Mohammed's old family idols, one of which is a meteorite stone that some ancient desert ancestor saw fall from the sky and then recovered off the burning sands of Arabia. Heck, the sanctity of the Kaaba has already been violated by Sir Richard Burton, infidel, which is quite the tale in itself. Might as well burn it down, Burton touched it!
Not sure who's side I should be on this time. Thinking I might just sit this one out and grab a few cold ones and a bag of popcorn.

DeleteIf you read his book he "technically" converted since he said, 'there is no God but God and Mohammed is his prophet.' I think that's all that is required. And then when he went back to being a British Officer, he 'converted back' to Church of England or whatever. I know that when he traveled in the US he tried to become a Mormon and was not allowed to join, but my sense is that more is involved with that than with Islam.
