And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

ReplyDeletethe problem with muscle cars in snow: those wide tires act like sideways skates. the motor makes too much torque. they get sideways fast.
ReplyDeleteGood thing all the other sedans, pickups and SUVs of the time had FWD, AWD or 4WD so they could get around in winter, right?
DeleteSet of lugs or studs and some sand bags make a big difference.
Not many people had four wheel drive until the 80s, don't try kidding yourself on that.
Almost died in the snow in a GT Mustang due to exactly that.
