Flamingos flying over Tanzania’s Lake Natron

  2. Is that a murmuration of Flamingos? I'm seen them flying but not from that angle. Mostly I see them standing in shallow canals around the neighborhoods here.

  3. I like the SHADOW cast by that great mass of avian pink-ness. Old time waterfowlers used to say that the flocks of ducks around here would darken the sky. It seems there is some truth to that story. Eh?

    have wire legs. Is that a different species?
