  1. I have four Japanese pull saws, they work very well. The small flush cut saw is for cutting dowels or tenons flush with the surface, minimizing the finish sanding required.

  2. Have a couple myself. Never was much of an artisan type woodworker but took a joinery class years back. One of these saws and a couple of sharp chisels really make dovetails and other types of hand cut joinery within reach of even my skillset. The instructor regularly hammered on the phrase “layout is everything”. A sharp pencil and a marking knife proved this out.

  3. A bit concerning that they think the black printed logo is a feature worth mentioning. Indeed, this kind of saw is outstanding. I have a full size and a small size for intricate work.
