Live at pretty high altitude, get to see circular sun bows in the summer, and moon bows in the winter, my wife says its cause the air is very clean up at our local, they tend to be a bit faint, except for some reason during brief periods of thunderstorms, then the sun bows can be particularly vivid. Truly beautiful. The moon bows are supposed to be cause by ice crystals, you cant see the full spectrum, but you can tell where the bans are, looks mostly like that as a full moon is no where as bright as the sun. Wonders of nature, makes me believe there truly is God's hand behind the design of the universe.
