And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

Wow. And ten thousand Bitcoin would today be worth.......
I remember when it first came out, I was doing a little investing and such, one of the guys in my circle commented when it hit 1-dollar: Throw 100 bucks at it. You've blown that at a casino scores of times, in lottery tickets, dropped it on a strippers ass once or twice (ok, she was worth it), and pissed out 10,000x that in beer you've drunk. Just for the heck of it. You never know... Honestly, I'd have sold it at $150, so I suppose it doesn't matter, but when it hit 100,000k on Friday, I had to stop and sit down for a second. Forks in the road and all...
I don’t think I ever hear what Bitcoin is selling for without thinking about that story.
