And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
And yet another most outstanding Friday "Open Road" photo essay. I especially enjoy the many young ladies, some of whom seem to be in ecstasy while seated in their vehicles.
I eat at our local DQ, frequently. On Wednesday night, I had a chili cheese dog, chili cheese fries, a Dr. Pepper, and watched the snow fall through the dining room windows.

Seeing Friday Open Road at least gives me the feeling of going on a trip.

ReplyDeleteNo. 10 is Morant's Curve on the Canadian Pacific main line in the Rockies. The curve was named after a photographer who frequently shot photos of it.
