And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
I always liked the Studebaker aesthetic. I think the company missed a great opportunity to put a swiveling headlight in that central medallion (ala the Tucker). Keeps the overall look, while being marketable as a safety feature.
If you're ever in South Bend, Indiana, the Studebaker Museum is a must-see. My grandmother had one of these, but in grey. It was ancient then. I definitely remember the scratchy wool seats though.
