And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Built in a time when people thought America's best times were in the future not the past. There is no reason to build stuff like this if you think the future is not worth living.
Yes there is a sense of looming catastrophe. The thought is that today is not as good as yesterday but not nearly as bad as it will be tomorrow. But then, our so called leaders aren’t instilling much hope either.
I, for one, used to feel that looming catastrophe. We're at an inflection point right now. At least it has been pushed back 2-4 years, depending on if RINO's gonna RINO.

Rob is right, Niagara Mohawk building in Syracuse. I grew up in Bridgeport about fifteen minutes from there. My grandfather retired from there with 43 years in the gas department. They gave him an Orvis fly rod with three different tips,a large metal tackle box packed with lures and a gold plated pick axe an shovel which my brother still has. Today you're probably lucky if you get a handshake on the way out the door.
