Lots of good smokers out there. This is the one I use, and have had good luck with it. Plus, it isn't outrageously expensive.

  1. U have one here in Alaska. It’s an awesome machine. I put my Weber in the shed for good.

  2. Nah, I'll keep my Weber, ya' ain't got to plug it in. And you don't have to worry about the electronics going bad & they will.

  3. Take it to the next level by getting 2 of the 6" Smoke Tubes by recteq. A lot more smoke. It works great on my 420.

  4. Weber is the king for charcoal cooking: steaks, burgers, chicken, etc... Had a ceramic cooker for a while, a pain in the butt to get ashes out, clean. Smoked on a RecTeq for 4 years, great smoker. Dials got a little wonky after about 4 years. Purchased a Pitts & Spitts smoker out of TX. More grill space. The unit is over built. An amazing smoker if you need something you use a lot. Built like a tank. 2 years and flawless. The grates are heavier, upper rack, the drip catch is a solid piece of steel making clean up easier. Last item, I use BBQ Delight pellets. Pellets make a difference. No connection to them. I have had some bad taste experience with pellets. These are the bomb, can purchase on Amazon. I use the contest mix.
